Editorial Policy

TV Live includes images and videos of television presenters who, at a later point, fell from public favour. This material will remain available on the site, regardless of the nature of the events involved or how long ago they occurred. As a result, some familiar and well-known faces will continue to appear throughout the archive.

The purpose of TV Live is to document and preserve the history of television presentation as it actually happened. These individuals were part of that history, and removing them would create gaps in the record. The site is concerned with what was broadcast, who appeared on screen, and how television looked and sounded at the time, not with revisiting past work through a modern moral lens.

TV Live does not seek to excuse, defend, or comment on the later actions of any individual. The presence of material on the site should not be taken as endorsement, approval, or celebration. It is simply a reflection of the television landscape of its era, presented for historical and reference purposes.

If you find this approach uncomfortable or disagree with it, TV Live may not be the right place for you. The site makes no apology for documenting television history in full, rather than selectively rewriting it.
